Dig into compost-making in the garden from hot piles to using worms! Learn how to regenerate lifeless soils into healthy ecosystems
School gardens provide living laboratories for investigation-based learning. Working with soils gets kids outside and engaged in learning by doing. Teaching about soil prepares our students to better understand their world and to conserve natural resources throughout their lives. This workshop is geared for grades 2-5. NGSS used.
