Hello there. We just got our first 6 Mangalista pigs (an oldworld Breed)
im trying to source as much local food for them as possible to supplement what they are getting from pasture.
I’m looking fir:
-Any Fall/ winter squash/ pumpkins that u might have leftover. Possibly begining to get soft on your front porches.
– acorns from oak trees
– any organic veggie/ scraps from your farms or homesteads.
– spent grain from all You beer brewers
– whey from cheese production
