I work with a local non-profit and we have a goofy black lab mix (??) named Roo who would love a farm to live on.
Roo is a fantastic pup who is seriously cooler than the other side of the pillow. At the end of the day, he just isn’t a fan of being handled by people he doesn’t trust (I get that–I don’t either! 🙂 ) It takes a bit of time for him to fully trust someone but once he does, you’re in. He currently goes to puppy daycare with a whole bunch of other pups and a crew of humans and the LOVE him. He solicits belly rubs and gives faces kisses to his favorite people and then prefers to be ignored by others.
He LOVES romping with his dog friends and hiking. We think this goof would be happiest in a rural home with dog friends to play with and few strangers to worry about.
He has basic obedience, is house trained, crate trained, rides well in the car and is overall a happy dude!
PLEASE email if you think you have a good set-up for this little monkey! He is about 9 months old, neutered, up to date on vaccines, de-wormer and is microchipped. Our 501c3 nonprofit asks for a tax-deductible $100.
