Side Road Farm will be opening up for its third season on Westside Road in Healdsburg in early July 2017. It is an “honor farm stand”. If you cannot afford what you want and are hungry, please just take what produce you really need.
Tristan successfully finished his first year at Chico State in its business program. He and his sister, Brittany will be getting things in order with our help.
There will be organic Gravenstein Apples, Bartlett Pears, Peaches (all fresh) with dried organic persimmons, pears, and apples plus the jams including the “Side Road Peach”. This season there will honey in jars from our bee hives in jars as well as fresh vegetables. On weekends we will have my grandmother McCutchan’s lavender lemonade at the stand for those who want something diffferent.
Tristan learned a lot about business on a small scale and appreciated the encouragement with his venture and this helped him with his business studies at Chico State. We hope the experience assists Brittany in her future endeavors. There will be a feedback sheet for comments which Tristan will use for future classes at Chico State.
A “thank you” to our neighbors, friends, and cusotmers who have given encouragement to the children on this venture and their inquiries as to if there will be another season.
